RESTORE FOR HEALING + MANAGING STRESS & TENSION + FASTER RECOVERY
We offer Massage, Thai Massage, Graston Technique, MIS, and Release Therapy to restore proper function to your body.
Recovery services can significantly improve posture and mobility by releasing tightness in muscles and fascia, the connective tissue surrounding muscles and organs. This release helps to realign the body, reduce pain, and enhance movement efficiency.
Over time, these therapies can correct imbalances and promote a healthier posture for improved functional mobility and reduced risk of injury.
Massage
We offer many types of massage adapted for distinct conditions, movement impairments, and injuries.
-
Therapeutic/Deep Tissue: Helps address muscle imbalances by releasing underlying tension in the tissues. Contraindications include: nerve inflammation, acute inflammation, surgery in last six months.
Swedish/Relaxation: For stress and pain relief, where techniques include rhythmic, gliding strokes and kneading of the tissues.
Myofascial Release: Tissues are stretched in all directions, which can indirectly ease pain. This type uses little or no lubricant.
PreNatal and Postpartum: Can help relax and relieve tensions focused around backaches, sciatica, stiff neck, being common areas with a growing baby or after having a baby.
Sports Massage: This happens prior to or following activity aims to strengthen one's performance and aid in recovery and injury prevention by manipulating soft tissues.
Reflexology: Time is spent on hands, feet, (head and ears if open to it), addressing points associated with different areas of the body. This is detoxing work and one should feel more at ease following a session.
Table Thai: The practitioner uses their entire body to help manipulate the client's body, as if they are doing yoga with and for the client. It is ideal for the client to be fully clothed but can be done without.
Trigger Point Therapy: Meant to release tension in the muscles and fascia, which may be associated with pain in specific areas. Approaches for this include; Soft and deep tissue work, dry needling, and ischemic pressure
Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Lymphatic drainage massage, also known as manual lymphatic drainage, relieves swelling that happens when medical treatment or illness blocks your lymphatic system. Lymphatic drainage massage involves gently manipulating specific areas of your body to help lymph move to an area with working lymph vessels.

Thai Massage
Thai massage is a holistic therapy that combines acupressure and assisted yoga postures. It is known for its ability to enhance flexibility, reduce tension, and improve overall well-being by working on the body's energy lines to promote balance and healing.
-
Traditional Thai Massage, sometimes referred to as “Thai bodywork” or “Yoga Massage” dates back to the time of Buddha. It is a 2500 year old healing modality that has a close relationship to yoga, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Japanese Shiatsu. No oils are used in Thai massage. The client wears comfortable clothes, and the massage is performed on the floor on padded mats. Getting Thai massage may feel like doing yoga without having to exert yourself.
Thai Massage aligns the energies of the body using gentle pressure on specific points. Thai massage also includes compressions and stretches. Thai is more energizing than other forms of massage. It also reduces stress, improves flexibility, and range of motion.

-
Erica Mott has been working with clients bodies for 30 years. In this session she will draw from movement and dance therapy. She has received training in Somatic therapy and Feldenkrais to help you relieve tension, develop strategies to manage chronic pain, and more more freely and relaxed.

Graston Technique
The Graston Technique is a form of manual therapy that uses specialized instruments to gently scrape the skin, helping to break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. This process promotes healing in soft tissues and can enhance mobility and function.
-
The Graston Technique is a manual therapy that uses stainless steel instruments to perform muscle mobilization. The tools are used in two ways:
1. Practitioners move the instruments over the skin to find any muscle knots, fibrous tissue or scar tissue that can cause the patient pain or restrict movement.
2. After identifying the muscle knot or tissue, practitioners use the tools to disperse it, which rehabilitates function and mobility.
Our MIS session combines Graston Technique with movement therapy for better integration.

Rolfing
Rolfing is a form of deep-tissue manipulation aimed at aligning the body in gravity, enhancing posture and movement. It's known for its focus on the body's connective tissue, or fascia, and seeks to release, realign, and balance the whole body.
-
Historically referred to as “Rolfing,” the Rolf Method of Structural Integration focuses on aligning the body around the midline by manipulating fascia (soft tissue surrounding muscles and bones).
It is based on the principle that a body aligned in gravity is one that can move with ease.
This whole-body approach is necessary because our bodies do not work in isolation and often pain that is drawing our attention to one area is connected to a larger pattern.
