Studio Update Fall Covid Response
Hello everyone,
I hope you and your families are safe, healthy and doing well. As we are aware the current covid atmosphere in Illinois is beyond alarming and devastating for so many. We are doing are best to help clients with health and wellness needs and as always please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or suggestions and I will do my best to get back to you promptly.
As of this coming Friday Illinois will enter into tier 3 restrictions, there have been some additional concessions for health and wellness, perhaps promted by the attached letter from the Chicago Medical Society. ( see attached). We are allowed to be open for the time being.
However , we understand the risks associated with being out in public and are adding additional guidelines to how we plan to operate as well as alternative options.
1.) Live in the studio we follow all of the CDC and Illinois guidelines, we also will work to schedule 1 instructor and 1 client in the studio, with perhaps 1 instructor doing online training in the zoom room ( separate closed office). On the rare occasion there are two clients in the studio ( only 6 hours all of last week) and two instructors we stay in separate rooms with a glass barrier. We ask all clients to quickly leave the studio so that there is no close contact at the entrance way. We have the same small group of clients coming to the studio and we are in constant communication ( all of us are all being extra cautious)
2.) For online virtual training we have really learn ed to zoom well ( all of us doing this since march). We have a zoom room with special lighting, cameras , etc. With many of our clients on zoom we have worked to provide great pilates, strength training, relaxation, stretching sessions etc., I personally have added elements of yoga, bartinief fundamentals, breathwork, and more, whatever session works best and is wanted by the client. We can guide you on easy set ups ( we have been creative) in your own home
3.) Also I have some clients using my Movement Med App where I can send you personalized exercise and educational videos and set them up on a schedule that suits your needs. Even program something to do several times a week. I spent time filming over 300 videos this summer and continue to add more . We can also do cardio programs and habit tracking (nutrition, sleep etc, basically whatever you want and what suits your wellness routine needs.
Despite all these options we will always be available to you in helping you with any guidance and as I mentioned before please don’t hesitate to reach out.
